Designing and delivering a Jagex technology vision
My second dev blog for Jagex that served as continuation from my first. This article went deeper into our choice of tech and infrastrucutre. How we started build a new design system with Storybook.js and then utilised that to drive innovation and quality in our websites and apps.
I felt this article was useful for building bridges and was able to connect with developers of Storybook as a result. These connections have proved vital as we started to push the boundaries of what Storybook could do.
This article also continued our message that the (now Publishing Platform) team were working tirelessly to make the web experience better for the player. Although progress may be slow from the outside we were working rapidly to get benefits to the end-users.
